Who helped you find your light?
WHY I’M DOING THIS
Music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. But I’ve learned something along the way: nobody discovers their gifts entirely on their own. Sometimes it’s a teacher who sees something in us before we see it ourselves. Sometimes it’s family, a friend, or even a complete stranger whose words change the direction of our lives.
I’ve been fortunate to have all of those people.
Some are still here. Some are no longer with us. And some may never know how profoundly they influenced me.
Celebrate the Season is my opportunity to honor those people through music—and to help give young people the opportunity to discover their own gifts.
That’s why this concert benefits Josh Groban’s Find Your Light Foundation, which supports access to arts education.
Someone helped me find my light. Now I want to help someone else find theirs.
— Bill Newstad
MORE THAN A HOLIDAY CONCERT
An evening where live holiday music, personal stories, and original cinematic short films come together to celebrate the people who help us find our light.
The Find Your Light Foundation helps ensure that young people have access to the arts education and experiences that can help them discover their gifts.
Celebrate the Season is proud to benefit this work—and to help give another young person the opportunity to find their own light.
Someone helped me find my light.
Now I want to help someone else find theirs.
— Bill Newstad
